Our Calais cutlery was designed a very long time ago.

It has a well established history.

Iconic and Timeless. 

Originating in France, Calais made its first appearance in the mid 1700's.

The earliest fragments of this design feature its prominent shoulders on the stem.

Nothing has been modified from the original design. 

To capture the spirit of this iconic pattern, the workshop finishes each piece by hand with a soft satin effect, very much like that of the artifacts antique collectors strive to unearth in vintage markets and antique fairs right throughout Europe. 

Made in England.
