Japanese Aluminium Grater
This Japanese aluminium grater is double sided, with pressed and punched aluminium.
Typically, the rough side would be used for daikon, ginger, or garlic, whilst the finer side would be used to produce smooth wasabi paste, however both can be used for the pulping of fruits and hard crisp vegetables.
Unlike western graters, these remain unperforated meaning the pulp gathers on the surface and usually collected using a small brush. (see Japanese Aluminium Brush - sold separately)
Measures approximately 24cm by 12cm wide.
